Who is arthur

Arthur Mingo is a writer and director based in the South Suburbs of Chicago and the founder of Aesir Productions. Over the past five years, he has written and directed three short films centered on family and dramatic storytelling. His work is set to premiere later this year in the Chicagoland area.

While relatively new to filmmaking, Arthur approaches the craft with discipline, urgency, and a deep respect for both the artistic and business sides of production. Drawing on his professional background as a lawyer, he understands the importance of planning, accountability, and delivering work that meets the expectations of collaborators and investors alike.

He is currently active in the Chicago film community and completing his first feature-length screenplay, LIMINAL, a drama exploring the consequences of personal betrayal. Through Aesir Productions, he is committed to creating films that are thoughtfully produced, powerfully told, and positioned to reach audiences on meaningful and commercial terms.

During his free time Arthur can be found working out, cooking, playing video games or going on a road trip.
